Great UB40 Cover Band From Birmingham
Brassy, live and in Reggae heaven, it's 8-piece tribute band Rats In The Kitchen with everything but the dreadlocks!
Hailing from Birmingham, hometown to the great UB40, these guys have nailed the amazing Reggae and Ska live sound combo of Brass, Guitars and Keyboards straight down. Who can forget UB40 on TOTP back in the 80s as they hit us with great Reggae from a band that really felt the musical soul of the calypso rhythm. From 'Red Red Wine' to the Haunting Elvis Classic 'Can't Help Falling In Love' they breathed new life into classic songs and made them their own.
Acknowledged as Europe's greatest UB40 Tribute, you have to say that RITK has done the originals proud. In fact, that's been true really right from their birth as a band in 1998. Performing now with vast experience under their belt they attract audiences of all types and ages. Covering early tunes such as 'King' and 'Food For Thought', they bring the UB40 legend into the 21st century with some of the great band's later work.
With full musical accompaniment, they are fully live and will get you moving, tapping, swivelling and shaking to the fantastic 80s Ska sounds.
No Disappointed Audience Here Then!
