'You Gotta Have Faith' though this performer makes it easy
What a voice!, what a character!, perhaps the last great male Superstar Britain has produced. George was one of a kind but then so is top artist Pete Valentine!
There are many who will tell you that George Michael was perhaps the last truly great male singer that these islands produced. While you may well debate that, there is no doubt that GM was a performer whose reputation, songs and star quality will outlive him for a very long time to come. As both a gifted singer and songwriter, George burst onto the music scene with partner Andrew Ridgeley and Wham back in the 1980s and immediately had the kind of impact that lead to a long 30-year plus music career where styles changed but George moved with them.
A tough, tough act to impersonate you may well conclude and you'd be right. However, there are some soundalike and lookalike performers that are up to the challenge and Pete Valentine is definitely one of those. From the start of his performing career in 1995, Pete has been performing his GM show to largely sell-out audiences across the UK and Europe. He's also had the better part of 2 decades to truly hone his performances and that experience and attention to details definitely comes across in the quality of his act. All the Legends top songs are there as you would expect but, more than that, this is a quality show with high-tempo dancing, soaring vocals and witty stage chat.
Covering both Wham and solo years, you can be sure that if it's a great George song (and there are plenty to choose from) this homage of a show will include it. Don't hang around, therefore - in this year of him lGeorge us, Pete is in high demand. Book early because this guy is definitely your man and will leave your audience with super memories of the late superstar and phenomenon that was George Michael.
